I am thankful to have had the opportunity to quit my job last year and travel the world, and completely change my life. I am thankful for all of the amazing people I met last year. To have your life touched by so many people from around the world is a beautiful thing. The blessing continues with my 2nd adventure living and teaching English in Thailand. I am continuing to meet wonderful people, and I get to shape the lives and futures of over 400 children. Incredible!
I am thankful that scuba diving has become part of my life, and I am over the moon excited to work towards my dive masters certification in 2015. Everything just melts away when you dip below the ocean surface. It is really the most peaceful experience, with nothing but the sound of your breath in your ears, and the beat of your heart setting the pace. I am looking forward to making it a big part of my life moving forward.
My Thanksgiving was in no way lacking this year. If anything it made me open my eyes to the true nature of the holiday. I know it's an Amaerican holiday, but I really think it should be something celbrated worldwide, because everyone should have a day to celebrate what they are truly thankful for.
For your enjoyment...here are some of the hand turkeys I had my students make this week. The last one is my favorite. I don't think the kid understood the assignment...still he made a very nice face, which was part of the lesson from last week :))
